Belgium Linen Drapery Panels

I love the way this rod travels around the room seamlessly but the less than perfect finish on the imported linen troubled me a bit.

Belgium linen has to be handled very carefully.  It seems as though it will wrinkle out of spite just because you LOOK at it.  Ugh!  
I've since learned that clients expect the imperfect finish and they like a little wrinkling.

Speckled Sheers and Flat Rods

Choose the Right Lining for Silk Drapery Panels

We used a simple lining and inter-lining to allow these silk panels to stack-back tightly when opened

but we had a different objective for the panel below.  

 Here we wanted to create soft, uniform pleating.

The secret to getting softly rounded folds is choosing the right lining.  You won't have the same results by using the typical lining and inter-lining commonly used with soft silks.

A 2-Story Master

 Our lead installer is a master at 2 story installs.  

Often the rods need to be cut to size before the climbing begins.

 Notice how the ceiling in this master bedroom has varying heights?

We mounted the drapery so that the rods appear at the same height when looking up from the floor.

Let's remove the ladder and...

  Finally the job is completed!  

I love the way the linen pleats cascade softly from the rod to the floor.

This room's 16 ft walls would have been cold and harsh without the talent of
