The Gardner's Choice

The Spring rains definitely have been a blessing. The grass is thick and rich with color. Bulbs that I wanted to pull up because they have never done well are impressive, to say the least.

This is the kitchen of a Gardner. I really should have taken pictures of the garden but I made the window treatments and I want stick to the theme of my blog.

Love Swags

This treatment is hanging in an 20 foot foyer.

You've got to click this one.

Many believe that there is always a need to finish the ends of a swag board with cascades. Here is an example of finishing the ends with a turban like swag.

Shades of Blue - Shades of Green

This is a Roman Shade. When it is down, completely covering the window it is flat. You pull the cords and it pleats as it rises. The boxed pleated valance and the shade were
commissioned by interior designer Leatha Robinson.

Sheared Balloon Shades are often very intrusive. A large bright room suits them well.

Below is a Tailored or Boxed Pleated Balloon Shade. A great way to show off a large floral.

This is a Hobbled or Soft Fold Roman Shade. Even when the shade is down completely, covering the window you will see the soft folds.

Add Tassels

This Squire Pole Swag would not be the same without the Tasseled Fringe. A scalloped valance would be just plain ol' boring without the trimming.
Even a very inexpensive tasseled fringe can add lots of pizazz!

If you don't want to purchase new window treatments, then let's just add fringe.

Slip Covers

Slip Covers are a great way to reclaim old furniture.
If you really love your furniture
and you find a fabric you really love then let's introduce the two.

If you want a more upholstered look,  I can make your Slip Cover fit like a glove.

Stop! don't throw out his Old Recliner. Let's make a slipcover.
