It can be a bit challanging to fit a cornice in such a tight spot. Look at how there is 3/4 of an inch on the left of this window and absolutly nothing on the right. The return on the left side had to be 3 1/2" and the right side 2 1/2". Of course all of this meant nothing to the designer and homeowner they simply wanted the cornice to fit.
